 InspectionXpert for SolidWorks 2013 is now available for download and installation for SolidWorks 2013 users.  This new release includes support for SolidWorks 2013 and additional enhancements. Check out our product release notes for SolidWorks 2013 here, or read our InspectionXpert for SolidWorks 2013 press release.

InspectionXpert for SolidWorks has also been localized for German and Japanese language support.
 
A service pack update for InspectionXpert for SolidWorks 2012 is also available for SolidWorks 2012 users.

InspectionXpert Corporation will be attending SolidWorks World 2012 and MD&M West in February. We will be presenting “Create Inspection Plans in Seconds!” at 7:30 pm on Monday, February 13 in the Certified Partner Theater at SolidWorks World.  This year's SolidWorks World is being held at the San Diego Convention Center.
 
InspectionXpert product demonstrations will take place in Booth #741A and will show how to create quality inspection reports and ballooned inspection drawings quickly and easily from SolidWorks drawing files or from any PDF or TIFF.
 
InspectionXpert will be demonstrated at MD&M West at the Anaheim Convention Center in Productivity Quality  Booth #467 on Wednesday, February 15 from 1 to 5pm and on Thursday, February 16 from 10 am to 2pm. Stop by to see us!

This month's issue of Quality Magazine features an article on one of our customers, PBC Linear's use of InspectionXpert for SolidWorks software. The linear motion manufactufacturer was able to automate its inspection process using InspectionXpert, which not only removed the chance of human error and increased productivity but also speeed up the process significantly. As a bonus, the company's inspection sheets are all now AS 9100-compliant, a huge benefit since the company is in the process of obtaining AS 9100 certification.

Quality Digest featured an article on one of our customers, PBC Linear's use of InspectionXpert for SolidWorks software. The linear motion manufactufacturer was able to automate its inspection process using InspectionXpert.  “Even on a six- or seven-sheet drawing, with a couple of hundred dimensions, with InspectionXpert, at the most it would take us five minutes to create an inspection sheet,” says Mike McKee, a technician at Pacific Bearing Co. “Without the software, it would have taken a technician a day to create that same inspection sheet.”
