Here's what's new in Ideagen Quality Control Pro V9.12

There's a new way of working with user defined subtypes

When you open the Lists / User Defined sub-types section of the Options window, you'll note a new layout:

Here's how it works:

If you open a project that contains user defined subtypes that are not in your existing list, you'll be notified by a popup:

If you select "Yes", any new user defined subtypes will be added to the list of existing subtypes, causing the list to expand.

You can reset the list of user defined subtypes back to default, if you select the "reset" button. NOTE: you can only reset the list to default while there is no project loaded.

In addition, if you open a project that contains operations, methods or custom fields that are not in your options, you'll be presented with the following popup:

When capturing a feature that will be set as a User defined subtype, the list of available subtypes is now alphabetically arraigned, and the user can select the first letter of the subtype to move the list:

Bug Fixes:

  • When attempting to delete multiple selected sub-characteristics of an expanded characteristic, the delete function would only delete one feature at a time.  This has been fixed.

  • When adding a "Part type" for use in Field 17 of the AS9102 Rev C Form 1 ( BOM) The "Part Type" field now only allows the selection of one of the 5 part types:

  • The "Units" setting for custom subtypes was not populating correctly. This has been fixed

  • When deleting one or more characteristics that are part of an expanded multiple quantity, the balloon associated with that feature would in some cases, disappear from the page.  This has been addressed.

  • When uploading GD features to Net-inspect, the "Tolerance Type" field in Net-inspect was being populated incorrectly. This has been addressed.

  • In some cases, Characteristics that were captured as type "Linear" would change to "Document Defined" when edited. This has been fixed.

  • When the Default subtype was modified in the options window, the setting would not persist. This has been fixed.

  • In some cases, an inserted note on the drawing would have its text cut off. This has been addressed.
